The family service centers are a non-profit organization that offers various programs and plans for the welfare of people. The aim of the social organization is to support and empower adults, youth, and children through various means and ways. The following services and programs are offered by the service center.

Children & Youth Services

Numerous services and programs are included in this, such as the Hodori Program, Youth Community Project Team, Knowledge Network, and much more. The help desk can be reached by call at 718.460.3800

Job Training

Various types of job training programs and classes are provided to the students to prepare them for employment in different fields such as bookkeeping, nanny babysitters, restaurant workers, etc.

Legal and Social Service Advocacy

Free legal consultation services are offered by the center to help people resolve many issues related to domestic violence, intimate partner violence, etc. These services are provided through monthly legal clinics. For more information, call at 718.460.3800

Community Outreach & Education

Community outreach and education programs about various issues such as domestic violence and sexual assault are provided by the center through numerous means like volunteer opportunities, educational workshops, etc.

Social Support

A wide range of social support services, including counseling, parental education, housing, children and youth services, etc., is offered by the services.

Counseling

A range of counseling sessions in different areas, including sexual assault and dating violence, death or suicide thoughts, relationship issues, etc., is offered by the center. More details can be obtained by calling 1-718-460-3800

Parental Education

Housing Assistance

Rental assistance is provided to needy people by the social organization to ensure housing services. The service is aimed at supporting homeless people, and financial assistance is provided under the program to help families pay house rent.

24x7 Hotline Service

A round-the-clock hotline is operated by the family service center 718.460.3800 to avail various services. The main facilities offered through helpline are the following:
1. Crisis counseling
2. Safety planning
3. Assistance with finding shelter
4. Referrals to KAFSC programs or other organizations
5. Other crucial services
