stop the mail deliver online. By login into USPS Hold Mail service a user can hold the delivery of item safely at a local post office. The mail delivery can be stopped up to 30 days. The request time to hold a mail starts at the start date by 3:00 a.m. ET (2:00 a.m. CT or 12:00 a.m. PT) on the requested day.
Steps for USPS Hold Mail Login
- Go to the USPS official portal i.e. (https://www.usps.com/)
- Navigate and click on "Sign In/Register"
- Create an account by following the on-screen prompts
- Login with valid login credentials
- After successful login navigate to "Quick tools"
- Click on "Hold Mail"
- Follow the prompts to submit Hold mail request
- The requests submitted before 2:00 a.m. Central Time begins on the same Postal business day
- The requests submitted after 2:00 a.m. Central Time begins on the next Postal business day
