CarMax can issue a full refund on a MaxCare Plan if canceled within 30 days of vehicle purchase. As long as the customer has not made a claim, the customer is eligible for a full refund within 30 days of vehicle purchase. After 30 days, the customer receives a refund for a fee. After 90 days, the customer is still eligible to receive a refund but based on the length of time of the car or the miles driven amount of the refund will be determined by whichever is greater.
