Consumer Quires to HP Authorised Puerto Rico Service Center
Mr. Joe CorianoMay 15, 2019
I have an HP 8610 printer that has worked quite well for the past four years, but recently the printer has failed to print, or do much of anything for that matter. I can turn the printer on and it goes through the motions of getting ready to begin working, but then it stays in a cycle like it wants to begin the printing process, but does nothing more. Also the only way that I can turn off the printer is by unplugging it because the power button cannot shut off the printer. I've gone through the resetting process and it doesn't do anything either. Could you please refer me to a competent authorized service center. I would greatly appreciate. Thanks.

My HP Officejet 4500 G510 will not pick up paper for copying or normal printing. It doesn't matter whether it is loaded with a couple or 25 sheets of paper. It sounds like the rollers are trying to pull the paper and then it says it is out of paper and must reload. I found an HP video with four steps of instructions for cleaning and or resetting the unit. Everything done as suggested, but still doesn't work. A very long time ago the on/off switch stopped working so it is on 24/7 and I had no problem with this situation. In summary, my 4500 G510 needs to be repaired to print and also replace the switch if necessary. Incidentally I'm running on Windows 8. one and I also have an excellent HP photosmart 1215 which cannot be used for lack of drivers. It is a very good printer, but in Windows 8. one is useless without the proper driver. Please advise when and where I can take the 4500 to be serviced and a rough estimate of the repair cost. Thank you.
