Hi, I bought an HTC 8x (windows phone) some time a year ago and lately the power/lock button seems to be malfunctioning. I cannot turn it off or lock my phone and there was one time it just won't stop rebooting. I tried resetting it back to factory settings but still problem was not fixed.

I am the user of HTC one x and i have been using before HTC wildfire. I am very much fond of HTC devices since 2010.
3 weeks back i slipped in the sea water my mobile was inside my pockets and it got wet and turned off automatically.
I tried drying it by burying in the uncooked rice for 3-4 days and it slowly turned on and i found very low battery and charged it but i found the touch of the screen is not working for some portions of the screen due to which i am not able to unlock my patterned lock.
It looks like partial screen has damaged as it got wet.
Kindly advice me what to do and moreover the important thing i do not want to loose any data and contacts from it.
