How Often Should I Get My Longines Watch Serviced?
Generally the watch should be serviced after every 4 to 5 years this totally depends on the conditions under which the watch is worn. Longines also recommend that watch must be checked for water resistance at least once a year. To guarantee constant accuracy of watch Longines recommends service after every 6 to 8 years in a Longines certified service centre and to replace the oil as well as all worn components.
Longines Watch Battery Replacement
As recommended by the Longines that quartz watches use a battery. The battery is used to send a electrical charge to a quartz crystal which causes the quartz to oscillate at a high frequency. The quartz should receive a battery service after every 2 years and all the watches models receive a complete service after every 4 to 6 years.
