FYSOP
(First-Year Student Outreach Project): A week-long service program for first-year students focusing on social justice issues.
Alternative Service Breaks
A week-long service program for BU students involving learning and educating on social justice issues, self-reflection, and empathy.
Global Days of Service
Engagement in local communities to learn about social justice issues in Boston city.
Student Food Rescue
A service program aimed at donating food from grocery stores, bakeries, and farmers markets to those in need, such as food pantries, homeless shelters, and low-income housing families.
One Time Service Opportunities
: Programs for students who cannot attend week or yearlong programs. Student groups, Greek life, residence life, and other organizations can send requests via email at

What is BU Community Sibling Program
The BU Community Center offers two types of Sibling Volunteer programs where BU student 'Bigs' pair up with youth in the age group of 7-12.
Campus-Based
In this program, Bigs meet through Zoom meetings with Littles for 60 minutes during the academic year to participate in group or individual activities.
Community Partner-Based
