Butler County Educational Service Center

Various programs and services are operated by the Butler County Education Service Center for district schools and educational institutes. Butler County ESC Early Head Start (EHS)

A program operated by the education service center, which offers a home visiting option for infants, toddlers, pregnant women, and families. The program is essentially a state-funded community-based program for low-income pregnant women and families with infants and toddlers.

Curriculum Services

Support in terms of grants and aids for the development of infrastructure is offered by the mentioned service center.

Special Education Program by Butler County Educational Service Center

Programs and interventions are operated by the Butler County Educational Service Center (BCESC) to aid local schools in assisting students with special needs. The program entails the following amenities:

Educational Audiology

Licensed educational audiologists are employed by the center to aid students afflicted with hearing impairments. The objective is to assist students and school personnel in utilizing various hearing aids and interventions.

Speech-Language Pathology

Assessment, evaluation, and intervention services are also provided by the center to students experiencing speech-language disabilities.

Occupational Therapy & Physical Therapy

This intervention aims to aid students in sensory integration, body awareness, self-regulation, and motor planning.

Itinerant Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing

This service is geared towards providing support in the student's preferred language and communication mode.
