Student Services
Students can access admissions for various services and programs aimed at achieving their goals. These include:
Alternative Education Programs catering to students unable to attend traditional classes.
Attendance Services assisting district schools in improving student attendance rates and reducing retention grades.
Background Checks & Fingerprinting Services
The Educational Service Center (ESC) of Central Ohio facilitates service appointments for background checks and fingerprinting required for teaching licenses. These services are electronically managed by the Ohio Department Of Education. Charges for BCI and FBI background checks vary over time. Payment can be made using Visa or other credit/debit cards like MasterCard or Discover. Cash and checks are not accepted.
Foster Care Support
Through the Foster Care Support program, also known as the Educational Partnership for Social, Emotional & Academics (EPSEA), social skills and emotional learning are enhanced among students. This program is funded by the Franklin County Children Services (FCCS).
Mental Health Services Support
The Educational Service Center (ESC) of Central Ohio provides experienced and certified mental health specialists and social workers to educate families and students with behavioral disorders. Licensed mental health specialists and social workers conduct meetings with students, parents, or guardians to address emotional and behavioral health needs. For further assistance, contact

Substance Abuse Family Education (SAFE)
