Special Programs and Projects

The center offers a variety of special support programs, including Reaching Out and Communicating with Kids, Youth Employment Services, Deaf Access for the Salinas Outreach office, ASL 4 Kids for the Merced Outreach office, Emergency Preparedness, CalFresh Program, etc.

Deaf-Blind Services

Geared towards developing a support system for the Deaf and Blind community, this program encourages interaction among peers for personal empowerment and independent living. Meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at DHHSC Fresno Headquarters., or email queries can be sent to Joelenes@dhhsc.org.

Counseling

Counseling services are provided to individuals facing difficulties or issues.

Independent Living Skills

This program is designed to train individuals to live independently, covering skills such as riding a bus, working, or walking.
