Different programs have been devised by the service center to support education, training, advocacy, and youth development needs. The main programs of the Deaf service center include the following facilities:
Interpreting Services
Professional interpreter services are provided by the Deaf service center to both deaf and non-English speaking individuals. The aim of these interpreter services is to eliminate communication barriers.
Youth Services: Training sessions are provided by the service center to deaf youth to foster their development through interpersonal skills.
Employment Services
Assistance is available for individuals with disabilities to make career decisions, search for jobs, and undergo employment training.
Advocacy Services
Individuals and families affected by deafness are empowered by the Deaf service center to access community resources and support through advocacy services.
Language Development Support
Language assistance is provided by the support center to individuals experiencing disabilities and language-related challenges.
Audiology & Hearing Aids by Deaf Service Center
Audiology and hearing aids are provided to eligible individuals by the deaf hearing service center. Sophisticated aids, designed to assist in hearing, are offered by the service center. Hearing aids, available in various styles and designs suitable for all age groups, are provided. Additionally, a range of audiology services is offered by the dedicated service center, which includes the following:
- Audiological Evaluations
- Hearing Aid Consultations
- Hearing Aid Fitting & Service
- Assistive Listening Device (ALD) Consultations
