The Dow Retiree Service Center serves as a focal point for assisting Dow Chemical employees and retirees, overseen by the Dow Chemical Human Resources department. Retiree accounts, benefits, and pensions are managed by this service center. The services and programs administered by the Dow Retiree Service Center include:
Medical Plans
Two healthcare plans, namely Aetna MAP Plus options 1 and 2, are provided by the Dow Chemical Company for retirees. Additionally, retirees can benefit from Cigna Medical and Dental Plans.
Life Insurance
Retirees are entitled to life insurance benefits. Enrollment in Retiree-Paid Optional Life Insurance is facilitated by the service center for all eligible retirees under the age of 65. Assistance regarding will preparation and estate resolution is also available for eligible retirees.
Retirement Health Care Assistance Plan (RHCAP)
Active employees who have contributed to the Retirement Health Care Assistance Plan (RHCAP) can utilize its benefits for medical premium payments after retirement.
Pension Plans
Exclusive pension plan benefits are provided to retired employees by the Dow Chemical Company.
VSP Vision Benefits
The service center administers VSP Vision benefits and payments to both active and retired employees, covering frames, lenses, routine checkups, and retinal screenings.
