Traveling on EZDriveMA Toll Roads

EZDriveMA does not accept payments in cash. If the owner does not have a transponder account/card, the department sends a toll invoice through mail to the registered owner.

How to Install EZDriveMA Transponder?

  • Interior E-Zpass Transponder: Follow instructions to install interior E - Zpass transponder
    1. Sit inside the vehicle and keep face in the forwarding direction.
    2. Now select the location behind and right of the rear view mirror. Make sure that the spot is below at least 4" from the vehicle frame. Clean frame properly.
    3. Adhesive Fasteners need not to remove from the back of the transponder.
    4. Keep the Transponder Logo arrow in the upper direction (right side up) and fix the complete entire transponder assembly to the selected spot inside the windshield.
    5. Now press the whole transponder assembly properly at the place and hold for 2 seconds and it's done
  • Exterior License Plate Mount E-ZPASS Transponder Installation:
    1. Check for the flat side of the E-ZPass transponder (The flat side has the RITBA Logo) and face it in the inward direction of the vehicle.
    2. Now Fasten the transponder in front of the license plate with help of top mounting bolts and the knock-out holes.
    3. The mounting should be done using the top section of the license plate and tighten the bolts securely. Make sure to attach the license plate transponder to the center of the front bumper despite the license plate direction

EZDriveMA Account Service Support

EZDriveMA provides two types of login options that are E-ZPass MA and Pay By Plate MA.
E-ZPass MA Login: Visit EZDriveMA account to get access using existing credentials.
Pay By Plate MA Login: Click to Pay By Plate MA to get access or create new account. Once EZDriveMA is logged in, one will have access to the following services.
1. EZDriveMA Fee Schedule support.
2. Account forms close, update, etc.
3. Transponder support regarding learning installation, add, return, replace, and much more.
4. Using E-ZPass MA transponder support.
5. Requesting new transponder adhesive strips.

Adding Vehicle to the E-Z Pass MA Account

Adding a vehicle to the E- Z Pass account requires a transponder listed with the EZ Pass account. Additional vehicles can be registered using two ways:
  • By Phone Service: Dial 877-743-9727 to register vehicle using phone service
  • By Online Services: Login to the EZPass Ma Account to get a vehicle registered online. Please note that transponders can be transferred to the vehicles of same vehicle classes as penalties will be charged if transponder are used for different vehicle classes

Lost or Stolen Transponder Service Support?

To report stolen or lost transponder, one should notify the EZDriveMA service department using following ways:
  • Online Account: By login into the online account at website to report immediately about the lost or stolen transponder
  • By Phone: To report lost or stolen by phone dial (1-877-743-9727)
  • By Visiting Customer Service Center: Visit the concerned service center to request card deactivation and misplacement
The owner will not be liable to pay any charges after reporting the loss or stolen transponder. However, the owner is liable to pay chargers prior to lost notification. Please note that the owner will have to pay $10.00 for an interior transponder or $15.00 for an exterior transponder for a new transponder issue upon request. In case the owner wishes to take the transponder along when not in use for safeguard concerns then self-adhesive strips are available for easy removal and installation.
