Financial aid or loans are extended to borrowers and students by this service center, catering to the needs of students, borrowers, and educational institutions. The services and programs offered by the Fedloan Service Center encompass the following:
Student Loans 101
This federal government loan service, administered by authorized service providers at low interest rates, targets undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. Fedloan Servicing provides these loans to cover fees at schools, colleges, tuition, and other educational institutions.
Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
A specialized program tailored for students, borrowers, and employers, offering forgiveness for outstanding payments on direct loans. The Fedloan Service Center also extends forgiveness opportunities for candidates under the Temporary Expanded Public Service Loan Forgiveness (TEPSLF) program.
Repayment Plans
Multiple repayment plans or tools are provided by the service center for students and borrowers, including Standard, Graduated, Extended Fixed, Income Sensitive, and Income repayments. Applicants/students or borrowers have the flexibility to select a repayment plan according to their financial constraints.
