Eligibility for IBM Retiree Benefits

IBM offers employee benefit enrollment services from the first date of hire. The retirement benefits will be counted from the first date of joining. The regular IBM employee is eligible for all benefit programs. IBM 401(k) Plus Plan

Save Before-tax


This method allows employees to save up to 80% of their income by matching it with savings to reduce taxable income.

Save After-tax


With this method, employees can save up to 10% of their income on an after-tax basis. This flexible option does not require employees to adhere to IRS savings limits.

Roth 401(k)


This plan enables savings on an "after-tax basis now." It should be noted that any investment growth in the payment contribution will be tax-free upon withdrawal at a later date.
