Lake Region human service center is a federal community service center that works under the supervision of department of human services. The service center renders various social, economic, healthcare and welfare services to citizens of North Dakota. The main services offered by the human service center include the following:
Mental Health Services: The mental health services are available for all age groups at the designated centers. Professional counselors and therapist deliver services to teat various mental health conditions and provides general counseling sessions. Citizens can avail below mentioned services under this program:
- Clinical assessment and care
- Counseling for individual, group and family
- Sexual abuse treatment interventions
- Alternatives to violence program
- Psychological evaluations
- Partnership program for children's mental health

Substance Abuse Treatment Services: The human service center organize treatment plans for individuals suffering from substance abuse or drug addiction. The treatment program involves counseling sessions, clinical therapies, community assistance, etc. The treatment for substance abuse is categories in three plans that include low intensity outpatients, intensive outpatients and day treatment plans.
Disability Services: This service program is meant for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The service support contains family assistance, rehabilitation, residential support and employment help.
Regional Aging Services: The human service center is responsible to offer multiple services for aged people. The senior service program include the below mentioned amenities.
- Adult family foster care
- Adult protective services
- Alzheimer's information and referral
- Caregiver support
- Health screening
- Senior meals
County Program Supervision: The program supervision include managing family foster care services. Operating services like preschools, child care centers, family providers and meals program.
