The mandate of the Mayflower Council, a division of the Boy Scouts of America, is to instill in children the core values of scouting and thereby, imbue them with the principles of the law, equipping them to make ethical and moral decisions throughout their lives. The overarching objective of the Mayflower Council is to advance its program through the deployment of volunteer leaders hailing from various scout troops, BSA intelligence units, venture capital organizations, explorer posts, Marine Scouting Vessels, and community learning groups.
