  • Metrocard Machine: Card balance can be checked by using a Metrocard machine. Insert the card into Metrocard machine and Click on the "Get Info" button. The machine will display information like card types, balance and expiry. Select "Balance" and click "Ok" to check the balance.
  • Subway Turnstile: The subway trunstile display the amount paid for tickets and balance remaining in the cards. Check the balance at Turnstile, every time after buying tickets.
