Multi Service Center Energy Assistance

Multi-Service Center provides assistance to underprivileged people in the form of services like rental & emergency utility support, food & clothing, education & employment, etc. Other services include energy assistance, tax prep assistance, youth, and adult services. Due to limited funds, these services are only available to people who need urgent support and on a first come first serve basis. The energy assistance program helps people pay energy bills including electricity, gas, propane, wood, oil, etc. The center pays these bills directly on members' behalf to the energy service providers. This service is available to people who fit the income and geographical conditions. Contact the service center to determine eligibility. To receive energy support at Multi-Service Center, call the 24 hours line provided below to schedule an appointment. Make an appointment online using the MSC's appointment scheduler . Depending on the preference, a person can opt for an in-person or telephone appointment.

Documents Required for Energy Assistance

A person needs to provide the following information and documents during the appointment session:

• Social security card & picture ID with date of birth of the applicant.
• Legal document with names and social security numbers of household members.
• Current address and contact information.
• Income verification for all adult household members for last 3 months.
• Current month’s energy bill & disconnection notice if available.
• Rent/lease agreement or proof of residence.
