North Central Ohio education service center is responsible for providing academic and structural support to public schools. The service center has designed programs and services to enhance the teaching and learning environment. The school districts receive support staff, curriculum, substitute services, specialized services, and professional development support. The main programs offered by the education service center include the following:

Gifted Education Services: The education service center offers assistance to identify gifted students and provide all needed counseling and education services.
Technology Service: The county education service center provides support to use the latest technology is classrooms. The technology assistance is also provided to improve practical knowledge.
Curriculum Service: The center assists in framing a student-friendly curriculum and methods of instruction. The center also helps to frame academic activities.
Leadership Support: Training programs and courses for teachers and school administrators in order to develop professional leadership skills.
Psychological Services: Professional school psychologists are placed for evaluations and identification of special education services and placement. The programs aids in child development, mental health, and individual differences.
Early Childhood Support: Under early childhood support the education service center tenders services like support for special needs, itinerant services, supervision of preschool programs/classrooms and professional development
