Northside Youth and Senior service center is a social organization strives for the development of young individuals and senior citizens. The service center organizes different programs for the community and social assistance.
Youth Programs:
The youth programs of Northside youth and senior center include the following facilities.
- Summer Camps: The service center organizes summer camps for children of 5 to 17 years of age. The camp offers recreational and educational activities. Call at (314) 531-1937 to register for the summer camp program.
- After School Program: The Peabody Elementary School is a programs to help students to cope with school learning. The classes take place from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. each school day. Call at 314) 531-4161 for questions about the STAR Peabody After School Program.
- Computer Club: The computer club is meant for students of 5 to 17 years of age. The computer classes take place every weekday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Students are provided access to the internet and homework.
Senior Programs:
The senior programs include special assistance to needy elderly people. The center provides nutritious meals to needs people on weekdays. The home bound senior citizens receive meals at the home addresses. Free transportation services are arranged to senior citizens to visit medical centers. Health care services and medical center services are also arranged by the service center.
