Services by Northwest Kansas Educational Service Center

The Northwest Kansas Educational Service Center (NKESC) is responsible to offer support services for 19 unified school districts. The service center designs curriculum and other academic programs for 6,700 students and 900 teachers. The education service center also offers training and certificate programs for school administrators to enhance leadership and professional abilities. The educational services offered by the service center are mentioned below:

• Special Education Service: The education service center offers support to identify and help students with special needs. The special education program involves various additional intervention to meet the needs of special children.
• Headstart Program: The program is meant for infants, toddlers, pregnant women, and their families. Under this program the eligible students receive home visits by the teachers and professionals. Applicants can apply online for the headstart program .
• Professional Development: Northwest Kansas education service center offers training and certificate courses for teachers and administrators to develop the professional capacities. The program is aimed to enhance the teaching and learning environment.
• School Psychologist: The service center offers professional counselling services for students and families to resolve mental and bahavioral issues.
• Techincal Assistance: Education service center offers assistance to use the latest technology in classrooms and for instructions.
