The Shawnee Community Service Center, a non-governmental organization, provides diverse welfare services to individuals in need. Operated programs are designed to furnish aid and support. The primary services rendered by the center encompass:
Food Pantry
Each month, food pantry boxes are distributed to 377 households. Additionally, 165 households receive complimentary bakery and produce items daily. Food services are accessible Monday through Saturday.
Clothing Service
Free clothing and shoes are supplied by the service center via thrift stores from
Monday to Saturday, Spanning 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Moreover, complimentary household items, including dishes, silverware, and towels, are available.
