Dear Sir I just purchased a 3TB WD My Passport Wireless Pro last week on April 4th online from Hachitech. This morning April 8th (Singapore time) I followed the guide on e-manual to set up the HHD with my laptop. I did complete the set up procedure and even selected options of automatic transfer of SD and USB devices. I also got an acknowledgement email on my successful registration of product. The Email showed my Registration date as April seven 2017, serial# as WXC1E651FXEK and Product as MyPassport Wireless Pro 3TB WDBSMT0030BBK-PESN. At one point of reviewing the options of the DASHBOARD I was asked to update my software. I did that, but but halfway through update my internet crashed and I lost the set up. Now I cannot see the DASHBOARD and can only access my HDD through the USB cable. Please help me on how to restore the DASHBOARD onto my laptop without it I cannot control or communicate with my HDD. I can not open wd my passport but can only connect as USB drive. I also do not know that it is still under warranty period. Is it possible to know if i have the serial for that?
