The steps shown below shows how to repair Nintendo 2DS screen and cleaning.
- Remove the two Phillips screws on the upper rear panel. Now carefully hinge the upper rear panel upwards and then outwards for removing it
- In this step take out the battery from its housing simply by lifting it up from the side which is close to the outside edge
- Now its time remove the ten screws attached with the rear panel and carefully pull up the rear panel from the device
- To locate the attached ribbon cable flip the back panel over. Remove the two screws that are attached with the ribbon cable to the rear panel
- Hold up the side panels of the Nintendo 2ds case with the fingers and pull outward to remove them. Take out the 12 brass-colored screws which are securing the main board
- In order to remove the top rail remove 2 screws. There are 2 screws that are holding down the joystick base remove the screws
- With the help of fingers hold the top panel and pull to remove it. Detach the 2 ribbon cables. Now remove the rectangular board seated in the face and lift out the white square
- Before removing the screen make sure that ribbon cables connecting the motherboard to the screen is disconnected hold down the screen firmly and lift it from the front panel of the Nintendo 2DS.
