The unemployment compensation program extends coverage to all workers included under Pennsylvania UC Law. This program is designed to assist employees for a limited period until they secure re-employment in any sector. The basic services provided by the center include the following:
Financial Assistance
Unemployed workers receive short-term financial assistance to meet daily expenses. The service center also offers support to aid in re-employment.
Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC)
Registered unemployed workers under this program receive additional funds to address emergency medical crises in the event of a pandemic.
Benefits to Unregistered Employees
Unemployment compensation for unregistered employees is available for up to 79 weeks.
