The Easypay Metrocard Service offers assistance to customers in the following ways:

Easypay Reduced-Fare MetroCard

Eligibility for a reduced fare is extended to senior citizens aged 65 and above, as well as individuals with disabilities such as mental illness, blindness, or deafness, who can apply for the reduced fare through online submission of an application. This provision enables customers to pay only half the base fare, applicable for subway and local bus travel at any time.

Reporting Lost Or Stolen MetroCard

The Metrocard is to be treated akin to cash, and in the event of loss or theft, immediate reporting to the Easypay account service center is imperative to prevent unauthorized charges. Reporting can also be conducted online. Upon reporting, the lost or stolen card is rendered inactive, and a replacement MetroCard is dispatched to the customer's address via mail.

Reporting Problems with MetroCard

MetroCard users may encounter issues such as expiration, vending machine malfunctions, MetroCard becoming stuck in the bus farebox, balance discrepancies, among others. Customers can initiate online claims or contact the service center to address these concerns. In the case of an expired MetroCard, customers have a grace period of 2 years from the expiration date to transfer any remaining balance to a new card.
