The Segundo Service Center is one of the student support hubs at the University of California, Davis. It provides assistance such as academic guidance, peer tutoring, and access to computer center resources. Both incoming freshmen and transfer students can benefit from the center's services, which extend to various academic activities. The support center operates under the following sections:

Student Housing Program

Assistance is available for student housing services, including access to information about residential programs, housing application procedures, and eligibility checks. Students are also enabled to submit housing requests through the service center.

Computer Support

Residential computer support is provided to students, encompassing wired and wireless network access and adherence to computer policies.

Academic Support

Counseling and guidance services are offered to students, assisting with examinations, form submissions, and other academic-related matters.

Service Desk Support

The university's Area Service Desk (ASD) facilitates access to and support for various services, as outlined below:
  • General information and assistance
  • Emergency maintenance requests for common areas within the area for non-emergency needs, or requests
  • Access to the Student Housing Service Request webpage
  • Room check-in and check-out services
  • Mail services, encompassing both mailboxes (for USPS mail) and packages
  • Temporary access card check-out for lost or locked-out AggieCards
  • Kitchenette cooking items check-out service for building occupants
  • Guidance on vending machine and laundry machine refund procedures
  • Provision of toilet paper for Cuarto residents (Cuarto ASD only)
