Milwaukee Self Service Center For Recycling

The recycling of household garbage and trash is facilitated by the Milwaukee Self Recycling Service Center, empowering citizens to responsibly dispose of waste. The service center actively aids in depositing garbage at designated drop-off locations for subsequent recycling. Acceptance is granted for household garbage and waste originating from kitchens, garages, homes, and gardens. However, certain types of materials, such as ammunition, appliances, compressed gas cylinders, car batteries, containers exceeding 15 gallons, electronics, explosives & fireworks, medical waste, and sharp objects, are categorically not accepted by the recycling center. Assistance with collection services can be obtained by contacting the service center at 414-286-2489.
