The South Cook Intermediate Service Center, also referred to as the South County Cook Intermediate Service Center (SCISC), is a key entity among the Regional Offices of Education (ROE) in Illinois, managed by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). This service center provides educational consultation services to educators and stakeholders across Illinois regions. The services and programs offered by the South Cook Intermediate Service Center include the following:

Administrator Academies

Licensing services for administrators, including the issuance of the Professional Educator License (PEL), are provided by the service center.

Professional Development Programs

Educators and other stakeholders participate in professional development programs to maintain their professional credentials and enhance their skills and knowledge in their respective fields. This program facilitates ongoing learning and training opportunities to support professional growth.

Educational Workshops

The service department hosts various educational workshops targeting students, teachers, college students, and parents.
