The mission of the State University of New York (SUNY) Student Loan Service Center (SLSC) is to facilitate the provision of loan facilities to university students. The service center is committed to providing support and information regarding each loan disbursement. Students are afforded the opportunity to apply for loan deferment in the event of any issues.
Eligible students have the option to receive a maximum of three years of unemployment deferment. Additionally, students facing economic hardships can request an additional three years of deferment. The service center plays a crucial role in assisting students with the enrollment process, application procedures, and documentation related to loans.
